General Werner Kreipe

German General of the Luftwaffe

Werner Kreipe served in the bomber unit KG2 from December 1939 until June 1940 when he was appointed Chief Operations Officer Third Air Fleet.
He held other staff positions on the Eastern Front and in the West receiving rapid promotions until appointed Chief of the German Air Staff in 1944. He survived the war.
